McKenzie and Cydney

This beautiful twin angel pin was designed in memory of McKenzie and Cydney as requested by mother who wrote:

"My husband and I had been married since 1992 and had a very hard time getting pregnant.  Finally, after 3 years of intense fertility doctoring, we became pregnant with twins.  The pregnancy was going along perfectly when all of the sudden at 20 weeks my water broke.  Our daughters, McKenzie and Cydney, were born several hours later.  They were born kicking and squirming, baptized, and then put on my chest to take their last breaths.  They lived for about 20 minutes and although it was the most gut-wrenching moment we've ever experienced, it was also very beautiful.  These little girls made us parents!!!!

Long story short, I would like a pin to commemorate their presence in our lives.  Some specifics that might help with your "creation" are:  June 20, 2000; We sang "You are my sunshine" to them every day I carried them; McKenzie and Cydney."


These twin angels are positioned on a large heart with the sun peeping overhead.  "C" and "M" intials are placed on the angels with their June birthstone beneath.
