Congratulations to Debbie whose entry was chosen as winner of the August contest.  She wrote, "Rosemary when I saw this it instantly reminded me of my friend Judi. Judi and I go way back. I lost my son in 1996, she lost hers in 1997. We found each other one day by accident on a Message Board that was set up for Loss of a Child. Instantly we became friends! Our son's losses were different, mine to suicide, hers to murder, but that didn't matter. We bonded. She lives in Louisiana, I in Tennessee. Years have passed and Judi formed her own group called Angel Moms online. She enlisted my help in the beginning and what started out as 8 members, we now have over 500! We have branched out in many areas and it has amazed us what has come from starting this group. We meet each other yearly at an Angel Mom Retreat and we were finally able to have our husbands/kids meet this year. It was awesome. The Dragonfly symbol on this Angel is the symbol or sign that my friend Judi gets from her Angel from above. The dog reminds me of her now dog called Angel, that was a Christmas gift from her kids, he is named Angel because he has a white spot on his back that is shaped like angel wings. Please consider naming this Angel 'Shane' for my friend Judi."
