"Sarah Elizabeth"

This precious angel was designed in memory of Sarah Elizabeth who was born with Potters Syndrome.

In her mother's words, "I would love to have my very own "Sarah" angel.  Without a doubt, my little symbol for Sarah is the monarch butterfly.  On my saddest of days I am always "kissed from Heaven" by the appearance of a monarch butterfly from my precious daughter (whether it be a real one landing slap dab in the middle of my lips or an advertisement in the dead of winter on the side of a bus!).  "She" is always there reminding me that I am loved and that she is ok. I have never looked to my experience of my Potter's Syndrome angel as a curse - she has been a blessing right from the start and I am so proud to be her Mommy!  She's the love of my life - my inspiration and consequently the reason that I am alive today (after she was born I found a loose connection to women that have potter's syndrome babies and the fact that a lot of them have thyroid problems - 9 months after she was born - on my 31st birthday - I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer - for 10 years doctors told me I was fine - it was all in my head, etc.  Had I not gone to a specialist after this discovery to rule out me *possibly* having thyroid problems I would still be walking around with the cancer that my surgeon said I had for 10 years!).  So - you can see why she is even more precious to me!  A gift from God, sent here to save my life."

The "Sarah Elizabeth" angel is about 1 1 /4 inches tall and features a tulip skirt (her mother planted 200 tulips last year in memory of her Sarah), a gold heart engraved "Sarah" with her April birthstone.  A beautiful butterfly flutters off her wing.
