Ruthann

This angel was designed in memory of Ruthann whose sister wrote, "Ruthann had long, brown curly hair.  She was born on March 16, 1961 and died on April 6, 2007.  Red was her favorite color.

Family meant everything to her.  She left behind two daughters.  To Ruthann, her parents were her rock, her siblings were her confidence, her children were her joy and her nieces and nephews were her pride.  Her Judiasm faith was very strong.  She loved to dance, had really wonderful rhythm and was a voracious reader, always had a book with her.  Also loved shopping and putting together vintage outfits.  Ruthann was really creative at decorating a room and collected miniature shoes and miniature perfume bottles, she had a really neat collection.  She loved to fish, it was one of the few things that relaxed her.  She was very generous to a fault, and loved being a mom.

She was very good at on-air broadcasting, her voice was wonderful and she could come back with a quip like nobody I know.  Ruthann would have made a good lawyer because of the way she thought and would probably have done a lot of pro bono work because of her caring for people.  She could walk in a room where she knew no-one and within five minutes have a crowd around her chatting and having a good time.

I can't even begin to tell you how much we all miss her and have struggled with our grief since she left us."

The Ruthann angel is about 2 inches tall and features a gold heart that will be engraved "Ruthann" with her March birthstone beneath her name.  The two hearts on her wing represent her two daughters and their April and May birthstones will be placed in the hearts.  A Star of David (love) and a red rose completes the beautiful design.
