This angel was designed in memory of Odie, whose friend wrote:

I am inquiring about a pin for the mother of a young boy who passed away this summer from liver cancer.  This Saturday, October 1st would have been his 14th birthday and the family is having a celebration for him along with a St. Jude Fundraiser in his name. I would love to be able to give his Mother one of your pins and possibly one for my daughter, as they were close.

 The young man’s name was Odie and here are a few things that I’m hoping you could incorporate on a pin for him:

"A heart with his name “Odie”.
He was made an honorary Young Marine, possibly something reading “Semper Fi” with an American flag,
a gold ribbon for childhood Cancer,
He was an avid animal lover ......

Odie was a very special young man, he was wise beyond his years, even before his cancer diagnosis.  His sense of humor was unbelievable and his favorite phrase that he was known so well for was, “That’s what she said.”

The Odie angel is about 2 inches tall and features a silver heart engraved "Odie", an animal paw, "Semper Fi" with the American flag, and a little gold cancer ribbon.
