Noelle and Nicholas

This angel pin was designed in memory of Noelle and Nicholas Baber.  Their mother wrote, "I lost two children last year... our story... like so many others is unique. My six-year-old daughter was a very healthy little girl her whole life. Out of nowhere she began having headaches and blurry vision... to my and my husband's shock we found out that our presious Noelle had an inoperable brain stem tumor.

Before we found out about Noelle's illness... Van and I had our third child... Nicholas Matthew. For some unknown reason... Nicholas was born with a bad liver. After many many MD appts. and so much pain and suffering Nicholas was finally placed on a liver transplant list in Cincinnati, Ohio. (Nicholas was terribly cheated to have an opportunity at life at all).

Nicholas developed an infection in his bloodstream and left us last St. Patrick's Day at just 11 months of age (3/17/2002). Then, sadly enough our precious Noelle left us just four months and four days later on July 21, 2002.
