"Maxwell"
This little angel was designed in memory of Maxwell whose mother wrote, "On Jan. 7, 2004, our world fell apart when we learned that our son had Trisomy 18, a condition "not compatible with life." I was 23 weeks pregnant. We named our son Maxwell Henry after 2 of his great uncles who served in World War II, because our son, too, had his own war to fight, and he would ultimately lose his life, just has Uncle Henry had. At 28 weeks, he was born Feb. 3, 2004, weighing just 1 lb. 2 oz., and he was 10 inches long. He lived for 2-1/2 minutes. We - Max's parents and big sister Kathryn - miss him every minute of every day and our lives have been forever changed by our Angel Max. When he went to Heaven, he left his sister a blue teddy bear that we had bought for him and I wanted that included on his pin because the bear is one of the few things we have left that belonged to Max."
The Maxwell angel is about 1 1/2 inches tall and features a gold heart that will be engraved "Max" with his February birthstone. He is holding a little blue teddy bear.
