Mark

This angel was designed in memory of Mark whose mother-in-law wrote, "
"Let me tell you about my son-in-law Major Lamar A. Eikman (MARK to family).  His bio is so long for such a little time here. Mark was a high-school drop-out at age 17. He enlisted in th Air Force in 1979 He completed his GED, pursued  his education and in 1994 received his Bachelors Degree and was accepted for Officers School.  Mark's military achievements were many . He was proud to wear the "Red Beret"  as a Air Force Combat Control.  Commander.  Mark retired from the Air Force in August  holding 2 Associates, a Bachelor and a Mate Degree and achieved lauded honor graduate recognition from 19 of the 46 training programs he attended in his career.  He was proud to finish his career as a Special Tactics Officer, Combat Diver, Master Parachutist and Free-Fall Jumpmaster, but he believed his greatest accomplishment  was building young "warriors"

Mark 's retirement gave him the time to finish his dream home which he designed and built in San Antonio.  He never had a chance to enjoy the fruits of his labor.  Depression overtook him and 5 days after seeing a doctor he left this world for a more peaceful place."
