Maria Catena

This angel was designed in memory of Maria Catena, requested by a family member who wrote, "My daughter-in-law lost her dear sister, Maria Catena, at the age of 27. Maria was a gentle soul, who loved animals and loved creating art for the people in her life whom she loved.She worked for some time in rescue shelter at the Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition which was indicative of her strong conviction to helping any creature or any one that suffered injustice.   Maria loved yellow roses.  I would like a star with November birthstone and a July birthstone to represent her two nephews.

Her father talked about her and in her Eulogy he spoke of Maria being like a star in the sky, guiding all of us with her love to "thy perfect light."

This lovely filigree angel features a silver heart that will be engraved "Maria", a yellow rose, an animal paw, and a butterfly.  A star sits on her shoulder with November, July, and April birthstones.
