Maggie

This beautiful angel was designed in memory of Maggie whose mother wrote,  "I would like to have one made in rememberance of my daughter Maggie that just passed away on July 18th of this year.  She is so loved and missed by her family and I would love to have an angel made for her.

Let me start by telling you about her...She has six children...ages 3-13...She was 34 years old when she left us....Maggie was like her father...she liked to stand out in a crowd and loved being the center of attention..there was nowhere she went that she didn't make friends.  Her birthday is October 28th..1973. During her illness she became very close to Jesus.  There were never any tears allowed in her presence...she always said no matter what she was going to be fine not to cry.  Birthdays and Christmas was very important to her where her children concerned.  She always tried to go above and beyond on these holidays.

She was a poker player....she lived and breathed poker..her dream was one day to play one of those major money tournaments you see on tv.  And I believe had she been given the chance she would have made it.  I've watched her play online and win thousands of dollars.  I put her favorite drink....Dr.Pepper and her favorite candy..Ikes and a deck of cards in her casket to take with her.  She was a daddys girl...and there was never one day that she didn't call me on the phone and tell me she loved me.  That was another thing...I think she had a phone glued to her ears...she loved to talk.   She also collected angels."

The Maggie angel is about 2 1/2 inches tall and features things that were important to her - cards, cell phone, cross and 6 hearts representing her six children with their birthstones in each heart (June, May, July, October, January and January)  The gold heart will be engraved "Maggie" (or other name) with her October birthstone beneath her name.  Surrounded by the six small hearts is a little teal cancer ribbon.
