Nevan Connor, Our Little Bean

 This little angel was designed in memory of Nevan Connor whose mother wrote,  " As soon as I had my first sonogram & saw my little bean & that precious heartbeat, I was hooked!  The doctor asked if I saw the flicker that was my baby’s heartbeat & I said I had.  I could barely take my eyes away!  The image of that little heartbeat will be forever ingrained in my heart & in my mind!  My daughters and I could not contain ourselves as we walked through the State Fair.  We looked at every precious pair of beaded moccasins.  I told them we could not buy them yet, but all of us envisioned our wee one wearing those precious shoes.  My daughters looked at baby sweaters the same way.  We did this with everything we saw for babies…We could not help ourselves!  It was such a sweet time!  My husband saw a glider rocker he wanted to get for our nursery, & I envisioned the days ahead where I would be rocking my wee one & nursing him.  I really don’t know if this baby was a boy or a girl, but I REALLY believed I was carrying a boy!  The rest of our family did, too.  When our son saw the sonogram, he said, “It looks like a boy bean to me!”  He was so excited about the idea of finally getting a brother!  Only about a week after our joy of seeing our little bean’s heartbeat, our own hearts were broken!  I had another sonogram, & it showed that our little bean had died…the sweet little heartbeat had stopped beating.  Our newest little one had joined “his” older angel sibling in heaven."
