"Joshua"

This angel was designed in memory of Joshua Hedglin who lost his life due to a gunshot wound.  In his mother's words, "We adopted Josh in  Dec 4 1978 - he was my  dream come true - those beautiful sparkling blue eyes my heart was stolen in  a split seconds glance.  Josh was my light , my shining star the wind beneath my wings  but sadly on march 16 1997 his life was ended when he stopped to visit a friend who was playing with a loaded shotgun.   Josh did everything in his power to stop the foolish actions of this kid including stepping in front of his girl friend to protect her. The kid pulled the trigger and took my sons life and with it the wind beneath my wings.  Josh is my shining star  at night. When I am missing him so much that the pain threatens to swallow me whole I go outside and look up to the heavens and find the brightest star I can find and hold my fingers up in our I love you sign  and call it out I miss you bear I will love you forever  and a day.." The Joshua angel is about 1 1 /2 inches tall and features a fshining star and the "I love you" sign.
