Jill
This angel was designed in memory
of Jill Shirley whose friend wrote, "I met Jill at a rough time in my life
and meeting her had to be one of the best things to happen in my life because
she never met a stranger that she didn't become friends with. She let you
know she was a christian by her actions. We only had around two months
together before she moved back to Texas and in those two months she planted
a seed in my heart for there to be a fire for Christ back. It has taken
quite a while but I am now at peace with myself and have the fire for Christ
back in my heart. Jill was tragically called home to Heaven in a car accident
on January 15,2002. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her and
who loved her. The following is a poem I wrote after I found out about
the accident that took her home too soon. Jill is now my guardian angel.
Jill I will be forever thankful for all you have done for me. I Love You
and Miss You Like Crazy!
'Guardian Angel'
"When you meet some people for the
first time it is like you have known them in some past life because it
seem like you both have known each other for a long time even though you
just met. And because of this there is an instant bond between your
heart and theirs. The bond between the hearts make it so there does not
need to be any words said between each other to know what is going on in
the other person's life because the bond between the hearts let you know
what you need to know. A friendship that might only last a short
time will last a lifetime and beyond because of the bond between the hearts.
Someone to watch over you and pray for you and that is returned because
of the bond between the hearts. Someone who looks beyond the disability
and sees nothing but the beautiful inner beauty you possess and makes you
look for the real you inside yourself to make you see your own inner beauty
that they see shinning through. All of this happens because of the
bond between the hearts. Then one day the instant bond between the
hearts is shattered tragically but that does not mean the bond between
the hearts is not broken because of being separated be heaven and earth.
Somehow being separated by heaven and earth just strengthens the bond between
the hearts. This just means now that there is a guardian angel sitting
in heaven looking down on you and watching over you because of the bond
between the hearts. You will see your guardian angel again some day because
when you get called home by God they will be there at the door to heaven
to welcome you home because of the bond between the hearts."
The Jill angel is about 2 inches
tall and features a music note, a crystal cross, and a silver heart that
will be engraved "Jill" with her June birthstone beneath her name.
