This angel was designed in memory of SSG Frank Gasper whose mother wrote:

"My name is Anita, I am the proud mother of Frank. I lost Frank May 25, 2008 in Iraq when his vehicle encountered an  Improvised explosive Devise. He was my only son, my hero too. I miss him so much. He loved being a SOLDIER, that life, and he never hesitated going to Iraq. He was always the first to lead in missions. His smile is what I remember the most about him. He was always smiling, and he just lived life like it was his last day. He was such a jokester and he just made everyone laugh. He had many friends, and he was loved by everyone.

I have a picture of him that I am sending to you, so you can see his smile no matter where he was. He always made the best of everything. And today! his smile lives on in my heart. ....
