"Francis"
This little angel was designed
in memory of Francis Baldoz, whose father wrote, "Francis was an all around
athlete (baseball, tennis, swimming, skiing, ice-skating etc.); he also
was taking Tae-Kwon-Do with his sister --- he would have gotten his black
belt this year (his sister is getting hers before the year ends); In fact
he was given an honorary black belt last May in a very tearful ceremony.
He also loved nature --- one of the best time of his short 10 year life
was when he swam with the dolphins at Discovery Cove. He also loved scouting,
he was on his second year of being a WeBeLo (senior cub scout) when he
was diagnosed with bone cancer last Jan 2003. He was given 'The Arrow of
Light' later by his scout master. He passed away on 12March2003.
Above all, he was the most loving son and brother anybody can have. One
of the last words he said as he was dying was 'I'm going t! o miss you
Ria (her sister)'. He was also a commedian not only at home but everywhere.
All his friends have this different anecdotes of how Francis made them
laugh and at the same time showing his care for them.
Life has not been the same
since his passed away --- there is no single day that I have not cried
- that's why I'd like to honor his memory with a special angel that is
a 'Francis'."
The Francis angel is about 1 1/2
inches tall and features a heart with his name engraved on it. A
playful dolphin sits on his leg.
