Chris

This angel was designed in memory of Chris Saavedra, whose mother wrote
"Chris was a skateboard nut.  From the time he woke up in the morning until night he was on the skateboard.  Right before he died he was working with the city on the new skateboard park.  His friends got together and petitioned the city and they had a plaque at the park in his honor.  He was always at natural clown and would try to get you to smile.  He had a heart of gold and would always stand up for the underdog even if it caused him to get in trouble.  He loved cats and video games.

One of Chris’ last requests was to be an organ and tissue donor.  He was able to give his last gift of donation.  They were able to recover his cornea so that someone without sight would be able to see and his tissue and skin to help burn victims.

God has called Chris back to heaven to be someone's guardian angel.  He is up there right now building a new skate park for all the children to play among the clouds.  So when you see a rainbow, just think of Chris board sliding down on his golden skate board.
