Bubba

This angel was designed in memory of Raul Velasquez whose sister wrote, "My brother has been with Christ since March 1995 and yet, I still catch myself wanting to share milestones with him. He was the family's "golden child". Raul Velasquez       (aka; "Bubba") was not just my brother, he was a dear friend, and like a dad to me. He was the oldest of 7 siblings and always motivated and set the highest standards for all of us. Raul was a true leader, a people person, and always an inspiration. I was blessed to have such a big brother and I will always cherish the time he spent with me and my daughters. Raul enjoyed traveling, he truly had an affection for the theatre and arts, music, and sports. Basketball and football were by far his obsession and he gave his lungs a workout during each game.  My brother was a season ticket holder and a #1 fan of the San Antonio Spurs.  This time of year is especially difficult for the family because Raul enjoyed having the entire family together throughout the holidays from Thanksgiving, to Christmas, and, through New Years. We all miss him dearly and only regret that our children, his nieces and nephews did not get to grow up with him. Through my brother's spirit, I can only hope to inspire my own children.
