Blanche

This angel was designed in memory of Blanche whose daughter wrote, "I'm interested in having a special angel pin made in memory of our Mother...she passed away Jan. 14, 2004 due to colon cancer.  My siblings took care of Mom at home where she wanted to remain until her passing.  We all agreed to put our lives on the back burner as Mom did so much for us all our lives.
Mom is still watching over us and she has shown her spirit especially to me and to my younger Sister, who used to have doubts until she saw/heard for herself one Christmas.
Mom loved red roses and lilacs.  Purple was her favorite color. I wrote a poem using butterflies to represent Cancer for our Cancer Center and read it in our local museuum as it was chosen by other poets.
St. Theresa of the Roses was Moms' Patron Saint and was very devoted to her.
She also loved the swing with awning where she would sit with her dog who also passed away recently."


This angel is about 2 1/4 inches tall and features purple lilacs, a red rose, a butterfly, and a little dog.  The gold heart will be engraved with a name and the birthstones on her children ( February, May, June, August, and November)
