This angel was named Allison by a special friend, Nancy, who wrote, "Allison was a typical teenage girl just in her first year of college and of course, cell phones are very much of the social scene for teens. She was a beautiful girl, very active in her church, she actually played an angel in the Christmas Pageant and she loved to play soccer. When I saw your (July contest) angel, I immediately thought of her.

Allison's mother later wrote, " (The angel) made me laugh she always had her cell phone with her and had finally gotten her camera phone for Christmas two weeks before she died. Allison (in the back seat of the car) was texting her boyfriend when the accident occured. They were hit by a drunk driver going the wrong way on the freeway. (heading north on the southbound side). I have enclosed a photo of Allison as the "Rock Angel" (the angel over the manger scene at our Christmas Pagent-all the little cherub angels want to be rock angel when they grow up!) when she was 16. (2 years before she died).

This lovely angel is 2 inches tall with a scalloped skirt and uplifting wings.
